Ace is a 2010 Canadian-born stallion, 14.2 hands, 9.5” cannons, with a beautiful balanced drafty structure, darker body color, excellent hooves and legs, nice type and presence, and a very sweet, easy temperament. Photo by Alice Bexson, 2018.
He had never lived with other stallions before coming here, but has integrated into the bachelor herd of stallions and geldings, pictured below (stallions Ragnvald, Mathis, Mjolnir, geldings Orven, Bart, Tito).

Ace (left) sniffs 2012 stallion Ragnvald, while they all peacefully share a round bale. We look forward to the first foals from Ace with our mares in 2026. He has a number of beautiful offspring in Canada already.

We sent him to our trainer for a month of driving and riding training shortly after his delivery from Canada. He trained up easily in 30 days time. These photos are from March 2025.

Measuring Ace

Ace enjoying life with the mares and foals

Ace’s primitive markings are bold and interesting. It’s amazing how variable these can be, all within the same breed!

Breeding turnout day, 2025

Ace has a really nice head. It’s refined, yet very masculine. I can’t wait to see how this merges with our mares!
