Mathis is a grey son of our past red dun stallion, SOS Rurik, and is out of 1dr Koryn, from the tall line in our herd. He carries red (aa Ee NN DD).
Koryn is athletic, choosing to jump logs in the woods that the other horses go around. Rurik is heavier but also very athletic in his movement, and Mathis inherited a lot of this from both sides.
We bred him to a good number of mares in spring 2025, so we are looking forward to his foals arriving in May 2026.
At 2.5 years old, he was already 14.1 hands tall. His dam is 14.3 hands, and sire is 14.0 1/2 hands
