Mathis is a grey son of our past red dun stallion, SOS Rurik, and is out of 1dr Koryn, from the tall line in our herd. He carries red (aa Ee NN DD).
Koryn is athletic, choosing to jump logs in the woods that the other horses go around. Rurik is heavier but also very athletic in his movement, and Mathis inherited a lot of this from both sides.
Mathis measured 14.3 hands as a 4 year old in 2026. He has very nice movement.
At 2.5 years old, he was already 14.1 hands tall. His dam is 14.3 hands, and sire is 14.0 1/2 hands
Mathis left, Ragnvald right, and the donkey geldings behind them. Fall 2025, 3.5 years old.
He’s a really personable stallion with people and with other horses.
