Raisa is a tall mare out of Double C Lucy and sired by the grey and super calm stallion, Kjor Jodas.
Raisa is 14.3 hands tall (150 cm) with 20 cm cannon circumference. She is a brown dun that carries grey (Aa EE DD).
Raisa has bold leg markings and many of her offspring also have bold primitive marks.
Raisa was born with grey-blue eyes that turned dark golden brown in a few months’ time. Her foals typically also have grey-blue eyes at birth.
Raisa has been a very interesting mare for us. She’s 14.3 1/2 hands tall and built very long. Her dam and sire are not that long, and have much more thickness to their structure. Raisa has a wonderful calm temperament, and is paternal sister to our 15 hand mare Gracelyn. Raisa has produced a number of really high quality foals for us and other breeders.
Raisa contracted tetanus as a foal, but recovered with an Australian treatment protocol (high dose vitamin C, from Pat Coleby) and has been very healthy ever since.
