Raisa has been a very interesting mare for us. She’s 14.3 hands tall and built very long. Her dam (Double C Lucy) and sire (Kjor Jodas) are not that long, and had much more thickness to their structure. Raisa has a wonderful calm temperament, and is paternal half sister to our 15 hand mare Gracelyn. Raisa has produced a bunch of really high quality foals for us and other breeders, and has outstanding fertility. She contracted tetanus as a foal, but recovered with an Australian treatment protocol (high dose vitamin C) and has been very healthy ever since.
