This muscular and typie red dun, grey recessive (Aa ee DD) colt is out of our dark brown dun Ragnvald daughter, 1dr Greta, and is sired by our grey performance-type stallion, 1dr Mathis.
Rodvald was born 5/21/26. He’s 1 day old in this photo. He has a nice bold dark red dorsal stripe.
We named him Rodvald as a red version of Grandpa Ragnvald. Rodvald holds himself, is structured, and moves so similar to his grandfather. He’s a stunning colt!
Red duns are born with cream colored hooves that turn dark as new dark hoof horn grows following birth.
