Vilde is a drafty mare from Ashwood Alma, and sired by 1dr Kjaman.
Vilde is on the right here. I love her hip shape, depth of muscle, and neck. She has a pretty common head, like her mother, but when paired with our stallions with nice heads, the foals have nice heads.
Vilde is 14.1 hands tall and 1300 lbs.
Despite a right scapula injury as a very young foal, Vilde has really nice movement.
Vilde, like her mother Alma, served as a therapeutic riding horse at the Baraboo River Equine-Assisted Therapies program in Wisconsin. She was there for 2 years and did a great job, until her deformed right scapula started interfering with the therapy work. She then rejoined our broodmare herd in 2026.
