Arva is a drafty brown dun filly that carries grey and red (Aa Ee DD), out of 1dr Vindkast, and sired by 1dr Mathis.
Vindkast is a daughter of Fair Acres Ole, and I see a lot of Ole’s characteristics in granddaughter Arva.
1dr Arva is the result of my breeding choices of these highlighted Fjords that I’ve personally known, owned or produced. The entire bottom line of mares in this pedigree were owned by us for many years. I met Ashwood Alma’s sire too, but it’s a generation off the end of this pedigree. It’s really exciting to see the decades of selection from first-hand experience of these individual horses to produce what I had hoped would come together in the offspring.
