Sejline is a drafty brown dun mare (AA EE DD) out of our old style drafty mare Ashwood Alma, and sired by 15 hand drafty Canadian-import stallion D+ Elko. Sejline is 14.2 hands tall with 21 cm cannon circumference.
We have a lot of Fjords in our herd that are related to Sejline.
Sejline’s dam also produced our mares Vilde and Nora. Nora produced Greta and Lucy. Greta’s daughter Sunnev is a broodmare and her son Orven is our only Fjord gelding. Lucy produced Raisa, who produced Viska and Vindkast, who produced Arva.
Sejline’s sire Elko produced Erica, Eileen and Ingunn. We are retaining the 2026 daughters of Erica and Ingunn for broodmares, Erja and Sjofn, respectively.
I love the hind and muscling that Sejline has.
Sejline’s structure is very nice and she’s produced some great foals.
Sejline is on the right here, sniffing her new sibling, out of her mother, Ashwood Alma. Alma was a therapeutic services horse after her broodmare years.
Sejline’s son with Kjor Hunter, 1dr Syver, is a therapeutic services horse in Minnesota, following in grandma Alma’s hoofprints.
Sejline has no problem cantering, regardless of her draftiness.
Sejline really loves foals and is a great mother.
I love it when her foals inherit her hind end!
Sejline also has nice leg bars and forehead webbing.
