Ilsa is a white dun daughter of 1dr Bekke, by Kjor Hunter.

Ilsa won the color lottery, since Bekke carries no recessive colors, and Hunter contributed all 3 of the variable Fjord color alleles to Ilsa, who is a white dun that carries grey and red (Aa Ee NCr DD).

At 4 years old, Ilsa measures just under 14.1 hands (144 cm) and has 20.5 cm cannon bone circumference.

Ilsa was sent off for 30 days of driving training as a 2.5 year old. Watch a video of her driving.

I’ve loved the foals that Hunter produces, and Bekke is the daughter of my heart horse Amber, so when Ilsa was born and had a wonderful temperament plus excellent structure, Ilsa became a keeper filly.

Ilsa’s first foal is a beautiful dark red dun filly with an adorable head and calm, friendly, bold temperament, named 1dr Jordbaer.

Febra, left, is nearly full sister to Ilsa. They share the same sire, Hunter, and their mothers are full sisters, Gylda and Bekke respectively. Ilsa is 1 year older than Febra.
